At Thriftly Yours, every piece we carry has a story — and we want yours to be a good one. We're committed to making sure you love what arrives at your door.

A Note on Returns

Because our inventory is made up of unique, one-of-a-kind vintage finds, we're unable to accept general returns. Each piece is special, which is part of what makes Thriftly Yours different.

That said, we never want you to be stuck with something that doesn't work — so if there's been a sizing mix-up or your order arrived damaged, we're here to help.

You have 7 days from delivery to reach out to us.

Simply email us at info@thriftlyyours.co.za with your order number and a description of the issue. Our team will review your request and get back to you with the best way to resolve it — no guesswork on your end.

⚠️ Please do not send any items back before contacting us first. We'll provide all the return instructions you need via email once your request has been reviewed and approved.

Damages & Wrong Items

Inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If something looks off — damaged, defective, or just not what you ordered — reach out to us immediately at info@thriftlyyours.co.za so we can sort it out.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis and are only available for:  

  • Sizing mistakes
  • Items that arrived damaged or defective

To qualify, items must be returned in their original condition — unworn, unused, with tags attached and in original packaging. Once your exchange is approved, we'll send you all the instructions you need via email to get the process moving smoothly.

Refunds
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our vintage pieces, refunds are not standard practice. However, if an item is confirmed damaged or defective, we'll review your case and work toward a fair solution.
